Asmaa Hosny

Over 20 years of experience in information technology and over 15 years in leading posts, Asmaa Hosny has always been reliable in the execution of different business strategies and/or objectives very successfully in addition to expertise in dealing and managing people and business situations. Acknowledged as active lobbyist, Hosny has succeeded in establishing key alliances on several strategic initiatives in addition to establishing two successful companies, Solutions Plus inside Egypt and Health Insights in the United Arab Emirates focused on delivering technological solutions including software development and system integration.

Asmaa Hosny has accomplished huge breakthroughs through sales and marketing supported by professional understanding of problems and/or obstacles by a professional marketing group upon execution of large-scale projects. Moving to the mobile teleco industry has been Hosny’s latest challenge, to identify and generate new revenue streams from mobile financial services, mobile health and mobile learning, new initiatives for the Egyptian market, yet key drivers to growth and sustainability.

Hosny started her career at Orascom Group, establishing a reputable path for herself since start, from acquisition of the HIPAA Compliance from USA to delivery of a Claims Management System (USA), Sheikh Zayed Hospital Solutions, Al Salama Hospital, Hadi Clinic in Kuwait to libraries automation for Bibliothica Alexandria and the Egyptian Engineering Libraries, to name just a few. Ambitious, enthusiastic, inquisitive and skeptical, by trait, Asmaa joined Economics and Political Science at the University of Cairo, from which she graduated in the year 1965.
