With over 15 years of experience in the travel and Internet media industries working for companies such as Expedia and Ziff-Davis/ZDNet, Enrique joined Google in 2005 as Head of Travel based in Paris. Enrique moved into a new role in July 2010 as the Head of Sales Development for the South Eastern Europe Middle East Africa “SEEMEA” region. In the last five years, he has supported OTAs, traditional travel players and tourism boards to develop and optimize their Internet strategy. Prior to joining Google, Enrique was a part of the team that launched the Expedia business in France as Sales Director. He was responsible for the key advertising revenue streams and led many of the core strategic partnerships with airlines, hotels and tour operators. He also worked for 8 years with Ziff Davis/ZDNet as Sales Director and Group Publisher, responsible for launching businesses in Europe and Latin America. During that period, Enrique was based in Paris, San Francisco and Miami.
Enrique graduated from the ESSEC Business School in Paris with a degree in Business Administration with a major in Management and is fluent in English, French and Spanish. He enjoys travelling to places with great culture, music and amazing food.
