Fady Ramzy

Fady Ramzy is an entrepreneur, a visionary and the country manager for Interact Egypt, the regional
office of Mother Company based in Rome, Italy, specialized in online marketing innovations and
communications services, mobile R&D, in addition to digital media delivery platforms over IP and mobile
networks.
Fady is also an E-marketing speaker and consultant. Recently he has participated as:

• Keynote speaker at the "Entrepreneurship Empowerment Symposium", by MCIT, during the
  Global Entrepreneurship week by the US Department of State, in November 2010.
• Keynote speaker at the "Social Media & Email Marketing Summit", in Cairo, December 2010.
• Keynote speaker and panelist and moderator at the "Afri-Tech digital marketing summit"
  in Nairobi, June 2011.
• Social Media consultant in the BBC world news interview during Afritech summit.
• Keynote speaker at the "Digital Media innovations" Seminar, jointly with Al Ahram, in Cairo ,
  July 2011.

Fady brings over 15 years of diverse experience in the world of digital/online media from different
perspectives. Throughout his career, Fady has always been a pioneer. Starting his career in Clip
Solutions, he was the first to introduce the concept of DRM for audio/video in Egypt thus allowing his
customer, Mazzika TV, to monetize their protected content.
Then moving to Link development, he worked as a project manager responsible for managing web 2.0 portals development projects for customers in Egypt, UAE and Italy with a significant success story in managing portal project of Egypt’s national airline, EgyptAir.com, thus launching the first e-ticket system in the history of Egyptian aviation. Moving on, he was promoted to establish and manage Link Development’s first European office in Rome. In this new position he acted as the European business development arm for major accounts for Telco operators in Italy and Greece.
On another track Fady strongly supports the growth of Egypt entrepreneurs. He is a very active and
crucial key player who shared his vision and provided his experience in several events as follows:

• Mentor for NextGen initiative in Port Said.
• Guest and Cairo expert invited to the GiG's Arab Frontier Twitter chat and talked about the
  challenges for entrepreneurs after the Arab Spring.
• Mentor for the Google Ebda2 initiative

Fady holds a bachelor degree in Computer Engineering from Cairo University. He was awarded, among only 19 other Egyptian Engineers, the Boeing Project Management Certification Program scholarship and achieved the Project Management professional (PMP) by PMI. Fady’s other professional certificates include Six sigma green belt by Quality America and Internal Auditor by Software Engineering
Certification Center (SECC), Egypt.
